The stunning mountain views stimulate an explorer's spirit, ideal for hiking enthusiasts like myself. The staff, led by Bernhard, foster a familial vibe, always ready to assist and offer insights on local trails. The comfortable bunks ensure a good night's sleep, while the hearty Austrian meals and homemade schnapps add a delightful culinary aspect to the experience. Despite its premium feel, the chalet is surprisingly budget-friendly, with the added perk of complimentary Wi-Fi and a sauna for unwinding after a day's adventure. The only expense I found was for the shower-3 euros due to the cabin's water management. While you will find serenity here after 10 PM, the vibrant ambiance of the bar/lounge area offers a chance to connect with fellow travelers. For those weighing cost against comfort, this spot strikes an intriguing balance.
